Didn't I tell you I always get what I want?
Loves it.
More kwento tomorrow and hopefully, more pics...
I know a lot of you are waiting for my next post. I am sorry to disappoint you guys, the pictures from this year's Cosmopolitan Bash are not yet uploaded.
However, after Karla and I went to the Cosmopolitan Bash (Xiao cannot come because of "booking" matters...
), I realized I miss doing events and fashion shows. So I decided to do an entry about my experiences in events and some of my friends I met through my shows and also show you some pictures from my events. (Thanks to Daniel Tan for these pictures, you can visit his site for more pics: Daniel Tan's Site ) Hang on, this will be a long post.
My first event in Saga was the Bodyshots 2004. Though Ms. Robinson's 2004 happened first, I consider Bodyshots as my first. Why? I do not know, but in this event, I have experienced not sleeping for two straight days, going home just to change clothes, doing mall tours and bar tours in the same day, and bonding with the finalists. In short, I was very much dedicated. Hey, this was my first job.
Here are some of the pictures from Daniel Tan's Site:

This was how the stage looked like at the finals night.
These following finalists grew close to me throughout the competition.
Manette - the friendliest among the girls. Based on her picture, you will think she is all classy but believe me, baklang-bakla siya. I miss having talks with this girl. The last time I saw her? During the MTV Fashionista.
Marge - future lawyer. Last I heard, she is in law school. At first, you will get intimitated by her but after knowing her, she is down to earth and a very kind girl. She once felt disheartened because she thought that she was not catching up with their lessons. But to her surprise, she won third place.
CJ - the female finalist from Canada. She is very pretty and smart. hard working also. She appeared in a Jollibee Commercial. And, as she puts it, she is the sister I never had alongside with Ms. Bumble (One of my bosses at SAGA events + models)

Ella Mae - She is a good friend of one of my best friends, Rommel. She is the late addition to the group because Marga (also one of my friends) backed out of the competition.

Bridget - the tallest among the group. She stands 6 feet flat. Her boyfriend is a friend of my batchmate, small world right? And one of her varsity mates (she is a member of the volleyball team of UST) is the sister of my friend. That is enough for me to treasure her. She won first place, btw. And she also bagged the MTV Fashionista title. JUST GOT THIS NEWS: She won the Model of The Year 2005 in Busan, Korea! Congratulations Bridgette!
And now, here are the pictures Pex is waiting for...
The boys. And for Pex's delight (and to some of my friends' delight), I am posting their pictures from their swimwear portion. Enjoy!
Rey - or Kuya Rey as I and Ms. Bambi (one of my bosses in SAGA events + models) fondly call him. I just love talking to him. He gets along with almost everybody! He is in Singapore for one month, makikipagsapalaran (his term, not mine). Goodluck to you Kuya Rey, if ever you read this. Miss you kuya!
Mike - the first time I set my eyes on this guy, may naalala kaagad ako. He reminds me of someone close to my heart. I told him all about this and he knows. The last time I saw him was at the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2005.
Desu - He is the guy in the shampoo commercial saying, "girlfriend ko yan!" I will always remember this guy everytime we will have a pictorial, he never fails to make us laugh by doing THE face.

Perico - I fondly call this guy six and a half. You may think whatever you want to think because the reason will be what you are thinking. That moment in Emphasis Salon is enough to prove the claim.
Siya na ang pinakamakulit, maharot, matakaw at nakakatawa mag-rason kapag a-absent siya. I remember the time he disappeared right before a mall show. I texted him and his reply: "Tumatae ako sa banyo." Also, iagine saying he is a construction worker in Pampanga? If construction workers are as cute as him, I wouldn't mind hooking up with some.
Miss this guy.
AJ - IMO, he is the most visible nowadays among the batch. He is one of the hosts in Wannabuzz, alongside with Anne Curtis and Chokoleit. He is also one of the cast of Vietnam Rose, a teleserye soon to be shown on ABS-CBN. Goodluck AJ!
Maico - this guy is the most controversial among the finalists. Why? Rumors surfaced out that he has a *cough*porno*cough* movie. Robert (one of my better friends) confirmed the rumor. Still haven't got the chance to watch it. Though I am excited!
And the winners are:
Third placers: Perico and Marge; Top Winners: Dennis and Maureen; Second placers: Bridgette and AJ.
Another memorable event was the Manila Fashion Festival 2004. In this event, I met Brent Javier. That is more than enough to say that this is my most memorable event in my SAGA experience.

Not my favorite picture of Brent Javier. But I love the moment when Brent shook the paint cans in front of me, pretending to j*rk off.
Imagine, this guy, pretending to j*rk off in front of you. LOVES IT.
Through Manila Fashion Fest, I also met Kelly Misa, Nicollete Bell, Cindy Kurleto, Regine Tolentino, and a lot more.
Anyway, on to my next memorable event: FCUK Store Opening at Rockwell, my last official SAGA Event.
I was the one who covered the table black and covered all the chairs white.
One of the models I met through this event was Andrew Wolfe.

Andrew - He is the guy in the Listerine commercial. Everytime I see him, i remember this song, "tuwing ikaw ay nalulungkot, nalulumbay..." (I got this picture from sgboy site)
Other models involved in this event were Rissa Samson, Bianca Valerio, Marco Grazinni, Robby Mananquil, Valerie delos Santos, and Jon Mullally.
Next event: MTV Fashionista 2004. Thanks to Ms. Bambi because even though I was not with SAGA anymore, she called me to be her coordinator. I accepted it because by that time, I miss doing events.
In this event, I admired Direk Robby Carmona more. The stage was just awesome. And the show was fun!

This was the stage at the MTV Fashionista 2004. As you can see at the first picture, the video panels were closed. And when the show started, the middle panel (there were three panels) started to go down transforming into stairs. And on the top of the stairs, the models were all there ready to conquer the stage. Believe me, the audience went wild when the panel was going down.
The stand-out? A night before the finals night, they had a rehearsal. As always, I predicted that my friend, Bridgette, will bag the title. Guess what? She did. I also thought that Rocky Salumbides will be a runner up. Turned out, he was the male counterpart of Bridgette.
Rocky - if my memory serves me right, he is the one who lend me a pen when we were about to have a pre-production meeting. Wait, I think I never had the chance to return the pen. Sorry Rocky. I owe you a pen.
That's it. My SAGA experience. Aside from missing doing events, I also missed my co-workers. My first bosses: Ms. Bambi, Ate Bumble and Tita Tanya; Ate Yzqa; Grace; Ate Cla; Kuya JM; Ate Ava; my favorite stylist: Lotho; the Merchandisers; Ms. A; Direk Robby; Kuya Lendro; Sir Dennis; Mommy J; Kuya Josser; Mam Mina and a lot more. I miss working with them.
Watching the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash made me realize how much I miss them and doing events.
So you guys better watch out for the upcoming pictures from the event!
Browsing through Daniel Tan's Site, I found some old pictures of some of the models who caught my eye in this year's Bachelor Bash, so I will post it too. I guess this will serve as a teaser for the upcoming pictures.
Zanjo Marudo - He used to be a Letranite. Nuf said. He is one of the centerfolds in this year's Top Ten Bachelors. He is also a model for Bench underwear.

I love this guy! I still do not know his name but I am doing all my can to find out who this guy is. Whoever of you reading knows this guy, leave me a message or send me an email: fighterchix@gmail.com, please.

Alvin Alfonso - He is one of the Pond's Secret Admirer and the close-up guy who kissed a stranger. He ahs this boy-next-door charm that no girls (nor fags) can ever resist. (got this picture from sgboy site)
Last but definetely NOT THE LEAST is this scorching hot guy...

Dion Iganacio
And I also love his teasing...
Yummy! Never mind the Madonna pose, I love this picture! He is smoking! Can someone book me a date with him?
Again, leave me a message.
I hope you enjoyed my looong post. Hey, it's been awhile since I last posted an entry. Don't fail to leave me a message at the tag board.
And oh, before I forgot to post this picture.
Me and Karla after the event. Ready to conquer the world!
Special thanks goes to: Mam Grace and Josh for the press invites; Mike Bejar for offering us some invites; Kuya Sherwin for letting us in; Ate Yzqa for the chikas and for the yosi paso (yes, I got another one. I am beginning to think that I am my friend's ash tray!); Kuya cameraman of GMA for the free drinks; and of course, Daniel Tan for the pictures I used and will use in this site(unless stated otherwise, all of the pictures I used came from his site). If you want more of his pictures, visit Daniel Tan's Site.
Thanks for reading!
Oh, I want to post this for my good friend and clubbing partner, xiao|xiao aka Jeffy aka Pockz! This is for you xiao! Enjoy!

Ton Lao - my friend is actually drooling over this guy! Xiao and I defined the perfect guy as chinito, makinis and may katawan. 'Nuf said.

Now, let me bitch for awhile.
This goes out to the person (and all of those who kiss his ass) who underestimates me and my friend.
When we first met to do this project, you told us to keep it short and sweet (this is your own words darling!) and you said that you want a straight news article.
Let me tell you this, news articles do not contain phrases like 'at the magic hour of twilight', 'resplendent crimson and indigo', and 'in the dark, calm hours, with nothing but starlight and moonlight.' Also news articles do not contain adjectives like 'powdery', and 'beckoning.' News-Feature article allows those kinds of phrases and adjectives. But NEVER in News Articles.
That said, maybe you should decide upon what you really want from us. You wanted us to write news articles and now you are comparing our works to an article by a Palanca Awardee which to me, seems like a feature article? That was a bit of a shocker.
We were asking you for feedbacks for almost two weeks (I have a copy of my email sent to you to prove this claim). We got no reply. So all along we thought it was okay. And now you are telling us that YOU are revising OUR articles because YOU do not want to bother us? That is why we are asking for feedbacks, which by definition is the transmission of evaluative or corrective information to the original or controlling source about an action, event, or process.
If ever you didn't like the article, we do not care. But do not leave us hanging. Tell us straight. Do not give us statements saying that the article written by a Palanca Awardee is better than our articles. Hello, we are nothing compared to a Palanca Awardee. I just hate the bullshit of saying you want a news article when you boss clearly liked the feature article.
All you need is tell us to revise the NEWS articles that we wrote and turned them into FEATURE articles and we will gladly do the job professionally. Now, I am thinking twice if you guys know what professional means. I am also thinking twice if you knew the difference between NEWS and FEATURE articles.
And to my friend who seems to be a kiss ass, do not text me asking for an event's invite wherein you would not reply to my text messages asking for feedbacks on our articles and our compensation. I know you replied once, but that happened after you realized that I wasn't replying to your texts asking about night outs.
I have nothing against you personally. I just hate what you are doing.
*end of bitching*

Oh my, I have been doing this post all night. Time to post it now!
Hope you enjoyed reading and viewing the pictures!
Expect more posts this week, I am on the late night shift.
Since I have nothing to write about, I will post pictures from some of the parties I have been into the past few weeks.
CA General Assembly - FLUID Bar
This is what I love about the Communication Arts department of Letran: THEY KNOW HOW TO PARTY! Even the former chair of the department, Fr. Joemar, knows how to party. Considering that he is a priest. He is my favorite priest EVER.

Tin, Moi and Mary Thrasher (that's her real name, believe me!) -I have to admit, I looked tired in the picture. We (Tin and I) came from our work, so don't blame me for looking tired.
Daphne, Abbie, Tin, Enrie and Ronald - We may look tired, but what does Ronald look like? A Pinoy-Big-Brother-production-crew-who-barely-had-sleep-and-I-came-from-work-so-I-have-excuse-to-look-like-this. Seriously, I miss my blockmates.
And the shocker of the night!

Mary Thrasher, Rene, Tin and Abbie - Rene is now known as Virginia and he, oooppss, she flaunts her "breasts" once in a while.
I would like to thank Tin for the pictures. Also, I would like to thanks PJ Tan and Ronald Wacker for the free drinks! Loves it! And also, thanks to Abbie's birthday, we find an excuse to get more free drinks!
Last Saturday, we went to Synder KTV Malate. I would love to have a picture with Andrew (one of their waiters). I will post it as soon as we have our picture taken together.
Anyway, Richard, Jeff and I went to Synder KTV to have a fabulous time and we did! We enjoyed every song and every drink. though Ricchard cannot drink because of a reason I forgot.
Jeff, Richard and I

Same people. After going to Synder KTV, Jeff and I (Richard went home early) went to Red Banana. At first we planned to go to Bed Bar but on our way to Bed, we saw Matthew aka Invaderzim and we got in Red Banana for free! I love free passes!
Anyway, I went back to Synder at around 2:30 AM becaue Michael Bristol and Cyrus Canares were there.
Oh, I almost forgot, we were with my GMA friends.

Moi, Karla and Allaine - we had fun! They also loved Synder.
Tomorrow, we are set to go to Government. More pics to come!

Anyway, we won the fight!
Again, didn't I tell you I always get what I want?
Cannot help but be proud of this one!
Bridget Inoferio recently won the Model of the Year 2005 in Busan, Korea. She bested other finalists from other coutnries like China and Slovak Republic.

Go Bridget! Be bigger! I am so proud of you! Mwah!
Also, I cannot resist posting this picture.

Brent Javier - loves it! Date me, date me DATE ME!

We are going to Makati later. Will keep you posted.

Today marked my first year working in GMA. And to be totally honest with you readers, I am not that fulfilled.
I have to admit that my work has its own perks. Say for example, everytime I would say that I work for this station, they always seem to have a high regard for me. I have to admit, GMA is one of the leading stations in the country, and not to mention, number one in Mega Manila. Another perk is that I get to have money to spend on my clothes, night-outs and other kaartehans.
But I hate working on weekends. Weekends are supposed to be spent in resting ang relaxing. Though I go out on nights even if I know that I have work the next day, but it is not the same going out without thinking that you have work the next day.
Shifting shifts are bull crap! My body clock is totally destroyed and my eyebags (luggage anyone?) are very visible!
I hate watching news now. I hate being updated, knowing eveyr little accident in the metro, and even in the urban cities. I hate newscasters who eat their words while reporting (I am talking about RG Cruz and Karen Bayhon.)
I hate paranoia this work gives me. (please read previous posts)
I simply hate it. The only consolation for me is that all of my co-workers, superiors included, are all nice.
Happy anniversary to myself! Am I really happy? Will I still last until April 2005? Watch out.
It's been awhile since I last wrote, and i felt that I have to update this thing.
So, today's Friday and we are planning to go to Embassy.
Good news: My friend Xiao finally find someone. Met him last Friday when we went to Government. I am so happy for my friend. Hope this will last, Xiao!
I really wish you all the best.
About what we talked yesterday, take it easy lang ok? You'll pull through out that feeling.
What else?
My god, there is nothing to write...
